I wouldn't be so sure, but if they do well we may struggle to not lose them in January

That highlights a possibly quite serious issue for us in terms of loanees we can get through the door.

LS has spent the last few years selling the club by virtue of the way we play being allied to how top level teams want their players to play. With that gone (and in truth it was dissapearing during LM and MJ's tenure's) then is it impacting our ability to get the very best young talent from the very best clubs?

It could well be why GA has said he's not really looking at the loan market. Is it because he knows he ain't getting them when there's teams out there at least trying to play out and actually play through the thirds?

Permanently yes. August 2018 for his initial loan.

The context was attracting loanees but I could’ve been clearer. ;)
