I think you do
You can think what you like.
It's a pointless organisation. In all of the almost 20 years of it's existence I can only think of two things that they've done that are of any value. An away game years ago where the home club were offering discounted tickets to their supporters but not us. The SA, under the chairmanship of Digger, got that reversed, and Lewington's. Look how that panned out. On the opening night, the Spurs preseason friendly, I was told that it was shut by a steward. It wasn't. Then the debacle with the shirts hanging up. If the SA tried doing anything about that, they fell at the first hurdle. Then the furniture. Once again you'd have to ask yourself how hard they fought that. And if they did, then the club completely ignored them. So once again I'd ask what's the point of them if the club simply choose to disregard them?
The fact that we now have a supporters board also calls into question their continued existence.
As for the other points raised...
Accusations of bullying... Poor in the extreme, but personally I've seen no evidence of that.
Running the official supporters association account unprofessionally... Don't care.
Blocking fans on said official account... Once again, don't care.
Not fit for purpose... Can't argue with that. Totally agree.
Official supporters account bookmarking/Liking pictures of younger nude girls... Don't even know where to go with that. I'm vehemently against pornography. I'm one of the ones that took a stand against The Sun for it's continued refusal to desist with page 3. So if he was doing that via' the official SA account, that's poor in the extreme.
All of the above aren't of my concern. But to be told that your contribution to anything, let alone the SA, is worthless because you're old and the things you did are in the past. Now that is poor. Don't know if younger folk are aware, but old folk were young themselves once. We didn't arrive fully formed in our 60's and 70's.
As for the travel. I can't think of anyone better suited to run it than Franco.
