Just reading the reporting of it now. Jesus Christ.

What’s being said? What’s the general tone?

Jus read The Guardian, which is basically a factual report.

Just watched it. As has been said, a tough watch.

I hope he gets back to being a good footballer, but I hope a lot more he has a stable life.

I must say, Neville was very good.

Honestly so proud that Dele is associated with MK Dons. Given what he has been through it’s a testament to him as a person that he was able to make it to such a high level of football. I’m glad he has got help and is doing well. I wish him the best for his health and happiness.

Very much this.

A few months ago I put a long message in here to explain how tough a time I was having, which led to leaving the forum etc. Loads of details were left out, but I was ready to explain that I was having a tough time and I was sad. So I can only sympathise and relate to Dele - and commend him for being brave and standing up. Suddenly, the whole world is behind him again and hopefully we see a recovery.

I think a lot us knew a fair amount of Dele's difficult upbringing, but never imagined it was as bad as he revealed on the interview.

Incredible really that with everything that happened to him as a child, at the age of 10 he joined the academy of a professional football team. Obviously the Hickford's had a hugely positive impact on his life and god knows where he'd be without them now.

This feels like a huge milestone in not just Dele's life but also football in general. Neville, as always, did a great job as the interviewer.

Hopefully Dele is in a place now where his performances on the pitch do not have a negative impact on his mental health. Hopefully he can enjoy his football, regardless of what level it is at.

Wow. That was a tough watch.

The most important thing is that he's on the road to recovery, and it's incredibly brave of him to come and out and tell his story. He will have earned nothing but respect from the world of football for doing that.

I always liked to think that we, as Dons fans, knew Dele from the very start, but it really hits home how much he went through before he even broke into our first team. It's a remarkable story in itself that he came through such a difficult upbringing and gone on to achieve what he has.

He came across as very articulate and humble. It was a hard to watch at times - "...hung from a bridge at 12" wait, what!? I don't think they mentioned MK Dons or Karl once which I found rather surprising but it was a great interview.

Can you imaging us drawing Everton in the cup? :)

Sound like his first 11 years were an absolute nightmare, no wonder he had mental health issues, he did say that adoption by the Hickfords changed his life and "if God really made people, he made them" is a statement of just how important they were in his life.

So pleased he`s been able to speak freely on his problems and i`m pretty confident we will see the real Dele back enjoying his football again soon

Get that man to Selhurst Park, ino.

Playing under Roy in that PAlace team will really reignite his game and put a smile on his face again.

IMO, the best thing for his mental health is get him back to Stad:MK and living with his adopted parents. Then build his career back up and get him up the leagues again

Why are you suddenly making sense?
