Aside from the Pitch, it sounds like yesterday was a nightmare for a lot of fans, once again. The club really has to sort out these issues or they won’t host games that draw in a large crowd again the future.

Apparently people were queueing to get in for over an hour.

Two season ticket holders both with disabilities and one with particularly complex needs, bought seats that didn't exist, one I managed to get rehomed quickly to his satisfaction. The other ended up walking about before the game started.
Kiosk near me ran out of food and drink early into second half as well.

Who is actually in charge of the "Match Day Experience"?

For some strange reason they didn’t use the usual fenced off zigzag queueing route at gate 5 and let that queue develop in one straight line, all the way to the “away” gates when we joined. Of course that invites people just to jump the queue by slipping in, and got mixed up with the next gate queue and those trying to reach the food stands.
Try that at a mens league match with that big a crowd* and they would have fist fights developing.

* unlikely this season!

We are just incapable of managing a capacity crowd, every single time I’ve attended a sell out or near sell out, it’s absolute chaos.

Thankfully we’re nowhere near the promised land of the premier league

there simply aren't enough Stadium employed stewards. In the 2 years I've been doing it so many have had enough and walked away. I don't need to do it, I have a weekday job, but I like it and I've really enjoyed talking to the fans and trying to make a difference , I managed to reunite a little girl with her lost teddy yesterday and felt great for being able to help, but games like yesterday 90 per cent of the stewards are all agency, they bus a load in from Sheffield!! A few are really decent and try their best but a lot of them I just sort of shake my head really
