I just found an Irish podcast interview with O'Hora where he talks about his career in Ireland and then the move to Brighton and subsequently us.

It's quiet inciteful as he talks about Russ leaving and the atmosphere on the day of the Bournemouth game being flat and then the transition to working under Manning and then Jackson. He also goes into the fact that he thinks we signed too many wrong players rather than experienced heads last season and the club has made mistakes.

If you want to go straight to the section about the move to MK Dons its about 30 mins in but I listened to the whole thing.

It was a really open interview, you get the feeling that he is a bit conflicted between wanting to stay and wanting to progress his career.

Quick warning for those with limited exposure to the Irish accent, this is very much a conversation between two Dublin natives and Woz isn't using his Media voice!!

The majority of players we signed in the summer did have League 1 experience though. Of the 15 players we signed, only 4 of them didn't have League 1 (or higher) experience.

Burns, Devoy, Oyegoke and Dennis were the players not to have experience

Johnson, Holland, Grigg, Tucker, Robson, Martin (although didn't play), Cumming all had significant experience

I suppose you then have a few players with limited experience - Barry (2), Lawrence (24), Kayode (20), Grant (20)

The C word features heavily  it’s used quite freely over here.

I imagine that after this (candid) interview GA is going to have an equally candid but professional 'do you want to stay here or not'? conversation with Woz.

Then, whatever the result, both player and club can 'move on'.

Warren will be off this summer I think. Wouldn't really begrudge any pro wanting to play at a higher level, especially one who can definitely do a job for a Championship team somewhere, but if he does go we have to make sure we hold out for a proper fee. Can't be just letting people go just cause we are nice, again.

I was really quite impressed we kept him last summer. I'd be amazed if we manage to keep him this time around. Best of luck to him, a fantastic player, seems a fantastic guy and and most importantly of all he showed he cared for this club.
