I'm betting on 3-0 and 3-1 to Wrexham.
Might as well start the season with some kind of positive. :ugeek:

But they do Romeo. Its a benchmark of how you will get on at Wrexham. Best of luck for next season, keep those darts in your pocket. :)

That is what I was getting at IG. ;)

It’s aimed at what I am expecting to see on here in the next hour or so.

Results don’t matter but morale does. Can’t be good for the confidence not winning a single pre-season game.

Did we train before this one? That made sense early on, but seems crazy to do that for the last two pre-season games. It would explain why we’re conceding late on though.

I thought second half there were a lot of positives, we were on top and pushing for a winner. Then the ref decided not to send off the 23 (or even insist on Brady taking him off, which often happens in pre season). That seemed to give them an lease of life.

I quite enjoyed that game. I've been negative about our performances in PS and we had a stinker for the first 40 mins. Then we played some decent stuff for the next 45 and got sucker punched at the end. I'm much more positive now.
Fair play to Anker who really grew in to the game. 2 fantastic corners and some nice skill. Almost scored a header too.
Get Lewie back in, play Harvie at LWB and stick Eisa up top with Leko on the wing and we aren't looking too bad as a first XI. I'd still like another winger and backup striker (both loans will do) and that's our lot I think.

Optimistic.

I think we need about 5 players, and still happy to see a few go tbh.

Massve positive was Anker. He have pushed his way up the pecking order. We were competitive for 80 mins and Robson looked good in an impressive midfield three. If only we can sort out the lone striker role.

I dont think we will get 5 alby, unless we use all our loan spots but who knows the quality we could end up with given last season we were seen as championship promotion contenders untill the first ball was kicked nevermind being in league 2 now.

Think weve missed the boat on any more experienced players coming in permanently sithout a hefty fee as id imagine all the free agents have long since found clubs the only one i did see was assambalonga but he will probably struggle to find a club that match his wage demands.

I havent seen any other top free agents still touting around for a club?

As for young loans will the quality be worth sacrificing the development of our own youngsters of which we have many looking for first team football?

We really need to spend a fee on a real statement striker for this level and another winger on par with leko for the starting 11 firstly then after that i think we still need depth at cdm and rwb and a young prem striker on loan to take a chance on.

All of those signings need to be very physical additions and athletic as well as being confident and composed enough on the ball. Tough ask

M.O.M performance from Anker.
What a gem
Takes a nice floated free kick on corners.
Harvie went straight down tunnel after being subbed after a bad tackle.
Better performance as their second goal was very well taken and the third was a deflection.
Hopefully Leko can revert to his rightful position and we can get a decent striker in either to play with Mo or instead of.
