Taking into account who's in charge, where they finished last season, likely budget, squad and signings.

Pushing for the automatics:
Us,
Bradford,
Notts Co,
Stockport,
Wrexham.

Playoffs:
Donny,
Gillingham,
Mansfield,
Salford.

League 2 also has a history of throwing a surprise competitor into the mix. Neither Stevenage nor Carlisle would have been tipped to do well this season and both are now a league above us. Previously there has been the likes of Morecambe, Accrington and Cambridge all going up when not fancied. Its going to be a really hard league for sure.

Barrow will probably be up there too. Out of all the other relegated sides I’d consider Accrington to be the most likely to recover, though I’m not too sure if they’ll challenge for Play Offs.

Morecambe is also an odd one, until their latest statement they had no money, no way of financing the club and 6 player. Now it seems like they’ll have their biggest 4th division budget seemingly out of nowhere…

I think Gillingham will be pushing for Auto’s. Wouldn’t be at all surprised to see them win the league.

One of Notts County or Wrexham will disappoint. Can’t see them both being up there.

On paper at this early stage, In no order for top 7:

Us
Wrexham
Accrington
Stockport
Mansfield
Doncaster
Salford

Also expect Notts County, Gillingham and Bradford to be sniffing around playoffs too.

League gimps:
Crawley, in terms of an unsuitable owner, club not being run probably as a result;
Tooting, inward vileness, we're everyone's favourite second team and we know best. Although don't think Toot will go down, but not much improvement.
