I wonder if Pete/Liam have on eye on the conference playoff final this weekend in case a certain manager would become a slightly more realistic appointment should his team not win ;)

Think again he doesn't have a track recors of success and definitely not in League Two

Depends on your definition of success.

For what it is worth as much as I would love Luke Williams I think if he leaves Notts County after hitting over 100 points in the conference this season he will have plenty of suitors higher up the pyramid. I think he could probably get a championship job.

I get it, but at the same time I don't understand it. He had a 26% win record at Swindon. I am sure the one season he has been at Notts County has improved his standing, it would be hard not too. But when he is managing a team that are struggling for any kind of consistency AKA us it looks like he struggles a little. Maybe it has changed, but I don't see one season at Notts County as a fair barometer the players they had in their side are easily better than the National League. Hell some of that squad are better than ours right now.
