He seems like a good bloke, and I admire his passion, but he was the wrong guy when he appointed him, and he’s the wrong guy now. Appointing a manager with no experience when we’re mid season and in the relegation spots is a criminally stupid thing to do once, but to do it twice is clinically insane.

As to whether he should have been kept on, I can’t get past his lack of a response to us going 4-1 up against Barnsley. When the only requirement was ‘don’t concede three goals in the next twenty minutes’, for him to not act until we’d already conceded two was so naive that we shouldn’t even have considered keeping him on.

Right decision.

Again, I'll defend him a bit. McEachran made a tackle on a yellow, MJ called Devoy over to come on as a sub, by the time Devoy got stripped to come on Wed conceded two goals... I said to my friend and its the God's honest truth, that when we kicked off at 4-1 I didn't like the way we looked and set up. I can't describe what it was but it was different. Maybe a lack of urgent press that we had before the 4 goals, maybe a slight formation change, but I could tell a difference, I just couldn't tell what it was

Didn't Kaikai play as wing back that game. It's wasn't his natural position and a more defensive sub would have been better when we were 4 - 1.

To be fair KaiKai put in his best performances for us in that role. He looked much better hugging the right touchline than he did on the left forward role.
