So, big call for him this year. Do you think he sticks around next season or is this the year he finally retires? Personally hope he stays, I don’t want his career to end on a relegation, that wouldn’t be fair on him.

Being relegated is a blessing to him as he’ll make the top of the games played leaderboard with ease.

Not sure that the poor bloke can ever retire when he constantly ends up being one of our best defenders that we can ill afford to be without.

One more season. Get the record for most appearences for one club. Then retire. Become our manager get three back to back promotions get the premier League dream. Bronze statues all around the ground and the stadium named after him

All the word around me yesterday was that he's definitely staying on.

What else is he going to do instead?

I'd say that relegation might have brought him back for one more. I doubt he'll want to go out on that note.

I had a slight doubt about how he would come back after the injury he had. He's been class since hes come back.

He's still one of our best players. He will be back for one more season I think.

The only positive from relegation, and I'm scraping the barrel here, is that Lewie can probably carry playing on playing to his usual standard especially in League 2. To be honest I think we'll need him. You hear about players grabbing games by the scruff of the neck, well I think Lewie at times grabs our club by the scruff of the neck and makes an impact. We will need that this summer and next year.
