It has been an awful season , right from the first game. The home games in particular have been truly abysmal, bar that 20 mins v Barnsley. At no point have we looked anything other than a bottom 6 team , and our only hope was that there were 4 more mug sides in the league. It nearly panned out that way amazingly. It was telling the number of away fans who said we were the worst team they had played this season when they played us. Even forest green had a good go against us in both games; especially at stadium mk.
The team was much worse; the shop was much worse, the kit was a joke, the stadium experience went downhill . I am glad it’s over .

I asked a question to Toby Lock on the SDOWSYC pod back in October about whether there were four worse teams than us in the league. Because all season we have looked like a relegation zone team. Utterly bizarre motley crew of a squad and unable to fight for 90 mins. Took Toby a while to wake up to the crap that has been this season but he did in the end.

Reading the pre season prediction thread from last summer is just sad. I'd never ever have backed us for playoffs or promotion like most did but 21st is a serious disappointment and a kick in the arse. Woeful pretty much all season with the exception of the "mini league" this spring, which he cheerfully binned by conceding leads at home.
