Grayson, may as well have stuck with Neilson the result would be the same. |

Including wins in the play offs. This. Grayson has been promoted four times from League One. I don't think there is any other manager out there that has a more impressive record than that for this level. In terms of successful experience in League One, nobody beats Grayson. Micciche is the wild card worth taking a risk on IMO, but I'd be more than happy with Grayson. |

If its Grayson or Micchie I'd vote for Grayson.Setting up a team to compete against hairy-arsed, experienced, tactically-aware opponents is different to teaching kids how to keep the ball, however good one is at that. Also, when things aren’t working on the pitch I’d have thought it would be better to have someone who has been in the technical area before and knows a few things to do. If we want to avoid relegation we can’t afford to sleepwalk into too many more defeats. |

Something tells me Grayson wouldn’t want to come here on the budget he’d have and would only stay until a decent job came about. Plus if my PNEFC and Sunderland twitter followings are anything to go by the football is poo. Weirdly enough I can’t see it working when he won’t have much dough to spend and would adapt a crap style which we already have just to get the best out of players he probably doesn’t want. Football style is important to some of us |

Oxford have just sacked their manager too. Wonder if we'll have similar targets? |

Well, Pep’s gone! (no, not that one, Oxford’s manager) That’s going to considerably muddy the waters. Similar budgets, similar ambitions, similar location. If you’re going to talk to one you’ll talk to the other. |
