If you want a repeat of the scenes of the last mk dons manager appoint simon grayson or phil brown. If However, we want a manager that stands some chance of success focus on someone who has the vision and passion to harness the entheusiasm for a certain brand of football weve become known for and get the fans engaged and back on board.

No plan b thank you, no dinosaurs. Lets focus on the plan a weve become renowned for and actually get bloody good at it again.

I'm thinking either Gary Monk or perhaps Steve Evans.

We'll have no sensible posts on here, thank you very much!

Hopefully we should have learned from nice mk 2 that hiring old managers doesn't work. Also don't get the hype around Gary monk.. Has already been sacked 3 times by the age of 38

Had a very good reputation at Swansea, reminds me a bit of how Gary Rowett is being perceived at Derby. Perhaps he is a bit overhyped - hasn't achieved anything as a manager really, just a good reputation. Think he would still very much be seen as a bit of a coup if we got him, but I'd prefer someone with more EFL experience and that has a track record for getting a team promoted.

Both nailed on as a tag team for Rangers, when the new guy leaves next month.

Preferably somebody who knows what they’re doing, with experience of league one, however knowing Pete it could be any random appointment

I really wouldn't be surprised if after 3 months of searching, we announce a Norwegian 4th tier kit man as our a new manager all because Pete thought his application showed potential.

The Sky Bet list is pretty uninspiring...

I'll do it for free.

But if they want to pay somebody, then:

Garry Monk
Mark Warburton
Phil Brown
Simon Grayson
Mark Cooper
Paul Ince mk3
RdM mk2

All available apart from Cooper, but imagine compensation to Forest Green wouldn't be huge. Although I very much doubt he would leave.

And to second keyser......if Pete hires Steve Evans I will give up on humanity.

Out of those I'd say my top three are

1 brown
2 grayson
3 rdm mk2

I hope brown. I really do. Always admired him. He will give the players a kick up the are they need. Come on Pete do it you know you want to!
