Alistair Murdoch McCoist, MBE.

Available, a serial shagger, managed the world's biggest club, and has an MBE. What's not to like?

I see your point, and I agree there has to be an air of caution around him in terms of promoting him without experience. The best case scenario for him really would be to either work alongside a caretaker manager whilst Pete looks for a permanent manager, or for a permanent manager to have Rubio as a first team coach, perhaps alongside another first team coach.

He has a good public persona and positive attitude, and in terms of certificates/training he's definitely qualified. Just going straight into League One first team management is probably too big a jump.

Robbo and Lewie - the dream team.

You have some weird dreams.

#1 We need to get over the whole "we should bring back..." thing. Whoever it is. Ince, RDM, Robbo - been and gone. Forget them.

#2 Lewie should be brought back to the squad. But there is nothing to suggest (yet!) that he has anything to add on the coaching or managerial front.

Hopefully we should have learned from nice mk 2 that hiring old managers doesn't work. Also don't get the hype around Gary monk.. Has already been sacked 3 times by the age of 38
