I see your point, and I agree there has to be an air of caution around him in terms of promoting him without experience. The best case scenario for him really would be to either work alongside a caretaker manager whilst Pete looks for a permanent manager, or for a permanent manager to have Rubio as a first team coach, perhaps alongside another first team coach.
He has a good public persona and positive attitude, and in terms of certificates/training he's definitely qualified. Just going straight into League One first team management is probably too big a jump.
