On a personal note, today gave me what I have craved all season. An entertaining game.

Now unfortunately the rest of the season has left us with no leeway for draws.

Great day today - welcome league two - and no one can say it's not justified!!!

As soon as it goes 4-2, you knew it was coming. Body language from our players dropped and they could smell the blood. It's almost as if the players knew it was gonna come.

Soft as shit.

Very disappointed and sad but that first 20 minutes of the second half where did it come from and how many matches that we have struggled in would a spell like that have made the difference. talk about the exception rather than he rule. Would love to know what was said at half-time.

I know we aren’t actually down yet but Cambridge are fighting for their lives who would have known how important that 1-0 defeat on the opening day would be!

Time for a decent red and live in hope until a week tomorrow

Understood, but Cambridge still have to get those points. It’s pretty unlikely a team down the bottom can win three games in a row.

We’re still in with a fighting chance.

We won three in a row.

Yes we did, and it was unlikely.

Crazy game. Still recovering, at 11pm...

After half-time, we played them off the park, and all plain-sailing....there was even an exodus of their fans. Then they played us off the park.

Although it felt like an awful loss, the odd thing is, would we not have taken a point before the game, against this high-flying lot? Not so much we did not win - everyone on here yesterday said we would lose, yes? Be honest! It was the fact results elsewhere went against us. Cambridge in the box seat now.

For those 25 mins or so though, really felt like the old times, great atmosphere in the Cowshed.

Yup.

But that's actually 25 minutes of enjoyable football in 4050+ minutes this season.

Yeah, I'm being unfair, and I'll perk up tomorrow. But today felt like I'd buried one of my kids.
