MK Dons booked a £3.6m pre-tax profit in their 2021/22 EFL League One play-off season, comfortably the best financial result in the division so far. Wages to turnover at 70%, with £1.8m day-to-day loss offset by league-high £5.5m profit on player sales. Divisional loss at £43.6m

Our 3.6m profit is significantly above anyone else in the league, with the next best 0.7m by Accrington.

Ipswich's loss for League 1 is absolutely crazy. Shows what we are competing with year on year, as there always seems to be a club like that.

Doesn't the club usually make a loss? I wonder where this sits in the larger group of business? After years of those covering losses for the club has the trend reversed post COVID? So many questions, so few answers, on the plus side we aren't going bust anytime soon so that's two fingers up to the wider football community

Player sales is why the accounts look so strong. Day to day loses were 1.8mil before player sales, which actually isn't that bad compared to previous years. 70% staff costs v turnover is a huge improvement on the previous year too, although Covid made our numbers look a lot worse than they were.

Yeah the red threw me at first too. Not sure why they've used red just for us, especially as we should be black..
