I think you may need to qualify that for any peeking AFCW fans.

Anyway, we still pay that premium as one of our commitments over WFC and the only beneficiaries of it (it was scrapped in 1999) are former WFC players, not MK Dons players.

I knew that you'd be onto this one !

We've had this discussion before and I'm sure that there's not many on either side that realize the facts. It seemed an opportune time to point this out for all parties.

It's all lies....the club was stolen....the whole footballing world....yap yap yawn.

 Still lurking. Occasionally posting. Much like yourself.

In other WFC related news, I saw a newsfeed article from the club simply headed “Peter Cork” yesterday. Link was disabled (error 404) and there’s not been anything since elsewhere. I take it he’s passed away?

The standfirst is still available on Google search as a preview if you search "Peter Cork MK Dons", which reads a little like an obituary. This is all that's available:

Peter played a key role in bringing professional football to Milton Keynes and the subsequent formation of MK Dons in 2004. An associate director of the Football Club, Peter was passionate about all things MK Dons and a great ambassador for the Dons wherever he went.
