I know the opposition hasn’t been the best, but this back 3 has looked incredibly strong. All 3 players have been exceptional.

Tucker was probably my MOTM today. Also, what was up with Lewington? Like a man possessed! He was all over the pitch closing down. Absolute machine and he’s 38!

Lewie was in the RW position at one point today. 38 year old who has just come back from a hamstring injury. The guy is a freak of nature

Some huge players returned/ing with the latter being anthony stewart:

Do we stick with this einning team including the back 3 as it is and grant or do we go for what i think is our strongest team:

———————- cumming ——————————

——— stewart — tucker — lewington ————
Watson ———————————————- harvie
————— maghoma —— josh mc —————-
——- kaikai ———————————- leko ———
——————————- eisa ——————————

Yup. Was going to comment on that meself.
I thought WTF is he doing over there? Answer: making a right nuisance of himself in a very physical manner and leading by example.
Legend in the true sense of the word.

Personally I’d leave the defence as it is now, it’s worked very well and Watson has been brilliant in that role, but that’s for Jacko to decide and whether he would revert to a back four

As mentioned already, Lewie in the forward positions first half made me laugh

After 3 straight clean sheets, I wouldn't be touching the defense, other than KaiKai in for Lawrence. I thought Lawrence had a good game on Saturday, but he didn't offer what a WB should. He was playing too much like a RB. I don't recall him getting into a position to cross the ball until around the 80th minute.

Kaikai———————————————- Harvie

The next 3 games, however, are in complete contrast to the previous 3, as the opposition is much stronger and all of them are fighting for a play off place. I think your starting 11 will be a lot more likely if we don't pick up anything against Wycombe and/or Portsmouth, as we'll then be looking at strengthening the defense.

I can't see Jacko reverting to a back four with Lewie playing. We have done well against the relegation teams, but (if he is fit enough) Stewart should add something to the team. As against Acci I would start Grigg and Grant has done enough to start again, so I would have Sully to support Will, with Mo, Leki, Holland and Max, ready if needed.
