If (and that's a big if) we can beat Accrington, things will look a little more promising. Oxford and Morecambe play one another, so at least 1 of them will be dropping points.

I'm still not convinced, as although we took the 3 points, I thought our performance on Saturday was pretty poor.

Accrington and Morecambe are just as poor as us and Cambridge. Yeah I know it is a big ask, but if we win the three we are believe we can win that will not only boost us out the bottom four, but better out GD and makes theirs worse. As someone said GD is going to be massively key. We are just the right side of it so why not make it better.

I am clinging onto the belief that something will happen over the next two weeks. If it doesn't then I happily take my place on the League 2 bus that is waiting to depart Bletchley Bus Depot.

Watched Accrington last night and result aside they were the better team pretty much all game against Portsmouth despite being a man down. Seem much better than that Cambridge side we played the weekend just gone.

Hopefully they put their all into that match and don't fully recover in time for Saturday.

Someone said that about Cambridge after last Tuesday and they were absolutely awful last weekend. Hopefully, playing 80 minutes with 10 men along with playing Tuesday and Saturday for two weeks running will have knackered them out. Also, playing "well" and still losing could be a morale destroyer. I know its easy to write things off, but they might think that we are walkovers or upped their game cause of who they were playing. All ifs and buts, but I do not rate Accrington in the slightest and this HAS to be 3 points we go for from minute one.

PS: I know I have egg on my face if we are humiliated. But someone has to have some belief. Might as well be me.

Accrington never feels like an easy place to play, but I can remember watching a win, a loss and a draw there ! :D
