First half shambles. Second off started brightly, take off McEachran, shambles for a bit, then last 15 minutes a lot better.

Deserved a point without deserving a point.

Donmentor - There’s been a lot worse than that.

Can't people have been right that Robbo had to leave at that time (just relegated from the championship) but good for us in a couple of months (just relegated to L2) several years later?

Not sure why people can't say one thing in a certain circumstance and another thing in a different circumstance

Because Thrillo looks understanding

Back to the game, I'm happy with the point. Lincoln have a very weird home record, 3 wins, 13 draws and 0 defeats, only conceding 11 goals at home all season.

First half was utter utter dog shite. Weirdly reminded me of the games under Robbo when we'd struggle. I'm all up for possession and I love Russball, but this was scared players just giving the ball away to the nearest person pointlessly.

Second half we improved. Devoy coming on helped, but Leko and Maghoma stepped up. It still wasn't great, Lincoln were absolutely shite and we cleared one off the line, but it definitely improved.

I have to say, I do wonder of Leko and Maghoma were Sweeting signings and just dumped on the new head coach as they both look like decent finds.

Long way to go, but it is a point and it was nice to see us scoring late to grab something from the game

Someone more sober than me will make a better job of this, but a quick glance at their fans' forum shows they are not happy.
Not happy at all precious.
Ha f- ha. :ugeek:

It brings the end of a run of defeats, last minute equaliser will give the moral a boost, happy with a draw at the draw specialists, bring on March and our “mini league”

Wow, this thread turned into a train wreck.

BTW, I wouldn't take Robbo back, so I guess I'm one of the "fans that are the problem with this club". I wished someone had put me right about that back at the NHS, then I could have saved myself a lot of time and money and heartache.

Just because Robbo tells you he loves us, doesn't make it true. He's a chancer and a bullshitter. I've seen him telling a pub full of people confidential things about some of his Oxford players. That is incredibly unprofessional and shows terrible judgement. I totally get why many have an emotional tie to him, especially if your formative years were during his reign. I never have had such a tie, as I always saw him as Ince markII's spin doctor when Ince stopped doing post match interviews. Granted, he had a lot of success here (but not as much as people's memories make them believe). But let's not pick a manager on emotions please.

Emotion goes a long way though. If you've got a manager who buys into the club and shows loyalty and commitment to the city, fans, ethos and the history, its a massive thing for a lower league club.

Other than that, he's a good manager. He's not the best but if we're looking at other options he's surely no worse than anyone else?

He just does the managerial equivalent of kissing the badge, IMO.

But he doesn't "just" do that does he?

I totally get if he's not someone's cup of tea but you're almost suggesting he isn't a half decent manager. He is.

Leko could have a 3 game ban coming his way, if the FA review the kick at the end.
