Very much this. Like with most issues the complexity of what happened, just like with any transfer fee, we will probably never truly understand. But for me the reality is.
Winkelman probably didn't provide a big enough budget to cater for the gutting we had in the summer
Sweeting's targets didn't meet all the criteria we needed and probably played the money ball game too much
Manning's choice of tactics, style and training probably wasn't good enough
The players definitely have not been good enough.
So based on the call to just sack people if they do a bad job, shall we fire everyone? Let's get rid of Castore and the catering teams too.
