That’s because they get sacked so easily. Who can blame them. Chairmen give in to the short termism of fans, sadly.

Seriously, I honestly respect you, but it's really time to pack this in.

It’s completely the opposite, had he had been sacked before now we may not have been in this mess!

Said it so many times, there are dozens of very experienced football chairmen that have sacked managers fairly frequently. Chairmen that have countless more experience than Pete does. I'm sure they are better placed than Pete is to make decisions like that, unless d50 thinks that Pete knows more about football than anyone else.

If Pete knows some amazing tidbit of information about Neilson that we don't know that gives a good reason for us to stick with him any longer, then he should share it.

I'm shocked by what is happening ... does this really happen to my club?

Hopefully the club can turn it around, but except for a brief spell, we seem to been in free fall since getting relegated from the Championship. We all hoped Neilson was the answer, but now he seems to be the problem.

Neilson was the answer, to last season.
We were going down to L2 with Robinson.
The 8 League 1 home games under Robinson last season: 3pts: W0 D3 L5 F7 A16 GD-9
Robinson Oct 2016: "Our performances have been excellent at home"...
He had to go...

First 8 League 1 home games under Neilson last season: 16pts: W5 D1 L2 F13 A9 GD+4
With the same squad...
He turned it around and we finished 12th last season, instead of in League 2.

Neilson however, is a problem this season...

How do those stats look for all games rather than just home?

A similarly distinct turnaround for all games home & away, in wins, defeats, goals scored, goals conceded, goal difference, points, league table position, points per game & form:

Robinson final 8 league games:
P8 W2 D2 L4 F11 A13 GD-2 Pts8 - dropped from 15th to 19th - 1.0ppg - relegation form...
Neilson first 8 league games:
P8 W4 D2 L2 F14 A8 GD+6 Pts14 - climbed from 19th to 15th - 1.75ppg - playoffs form...

It's Pete's train set, and you should all feel honoured to be granted the privilege of paying to watch him play with it.
