Anyone know why they have shut sections 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11?

That’s the whole east corner and half the cowshed. WTF!!!

To crowd people together to provide a better atmosphere.

LOL, no, really - to save on stewarding costs.

They did that against Maidstone too I think - all the corners were closed. Looked wierd but seemed to work. If it saves money too why not do it every game?

Because people have existing season tickets in all parts of the ground. Those people are happy where they are.

Not for this game they don’t.

I was responding to the question as to why they don't do it for every game

They should do it for every game. The corners are only meant for big games.

Exactly. Traditionally, grounds didn't even have corners. The corners should be for the big Premier League opposition cup game or international Rugby matches. Not League One football.

It's the same reason why you're not allowed to sit upstairs.

I hope the pricing of this game is owing to Coventry needing Mark Robins to use his time on BBC 2 to pass round the begging bowl and not a sign of things to come. £17 for non members is ridiculous for a game against a League 2 club. Very rarely have I ever considered not going owing to the cost of a ticket, but in this case I am doing exactly that. It's also a bit weird with the large away allocation that they've felt in necessary to apply the postcode restrictions on home purchases? Surely Coventry fans being the fine moral fans they are they won't come any way as SISU will get half the gate?......
