Well done to him and he got the biggest cheer of the night when announced!

Makes team of the year alongside Harry Darling as well.

This award ceremony has been utter trash though

Thoroughly deserved.

Darling also deservedly in L1 Team of the Season.

Seems like the only way we're going to have them here next season is if we go up though

Indeed. Congratulations to Scott in particular, and also to Harry. Both of them have been amazing this season. Fully merited.

Slap £5 Mill asking prices at least on both of them. Especially for Twine. That would be the minimum I would expect. That's if we don't go up of course

Was there any doubt. Twine has been spectacular. Probably up there in my best 11. EFL Facebook page is full of moaning Wednesday fans saying bannan was robbed. He is a champ player in league 1 so should be doing well in this league. Twine however is on another level.

Harry deserves it too and he old gaffas assessment is spot on. He really could do it in the Championship and his 7 goals is amazing for a CB.

i think we'll be losing both even if we do go up to be honest.

money in the championship is astronomical. teams will be able to offer big hikes in wages

If the worst happened and they were both to leave, realistically what would we expect for both, assuming we don't have some silly low release clause as with O'Riley?

I know people throw "£5m" around, but surely they're both in that region, plus healthy add-ons and sell-on clauses. Swindon will take a 20% cut of Twine's fee if he does go, so even more important that we get a good fee for him.

Obviously I hope both of them stay next season though, they're such a key part of this squad and would be hard to replace.

Darling around £2-3m, using the likes of Rob Dickie as a benchmark. Twine probably more like £5m.

In all honesty, I have no idea and if the up front fee doesn't exceed the Dele fee i don't think we'll ever truly know. As always though, their value is a mixture of what we want, what a team is willing to pay and if there is a release clause, not just how good they are.

I can imagine there are both contractual terms and verbal agreements are in place though. Maybe a release clause if we don't go up, maybe a verbal agreement in case a Premier league team comes in. These would be important to attract the player in the first place, a sign of 'we know you'll do good here, we want you to stay but also we won't stop you from progressing and hold you hostage'. A massive thing going in our favour is their enjoyment at the club, I'd be surprised of either throw a tantrum and try to force a move if bidders are way off our valuation.

As long as he and Darling don't go to Swansea, I'm happy with whatever the club feels is fair
