A friendly summer thread to remember those little, seemingly irrelevant moments in time that made you go 'what the fuck is going on' at the time - and quite possibly now as well.

I'll start with the 3-0 defeat at Carlisle on a Tuesday night, January 2014. Right in front of the away end, Daniel Powell actually skins a defender. Better than that - he nutmegs the poor fucker.

Powell can now charge into the penalty area to put a cross in... except he's never got that far, freezes, and gets tackled.

It was like being a kid, finally cracking that level of Sonic the Hedgehog you could never get past with one life left... and then dying six seconds into the next level.

God above, Powell was useless sometimes.

Charlie McDonald against Coventry (I think). When he was about 2 yards out from goal and all he had to do was tap it in but he hesitated, for some god only knows reason, stumbled and miskicked it.

Also, Kay's own goal against Leeds was absolutely ridiculous. I'm surprised that wasn't investigated for match fixing.

That wasn't even as bad as Kay's own goal from 25 yards at home against Shrewsbury when he put it past Jazzhands.

It puts me right back at the game. I'm still going WTF now.

Not sure if it counts as a WTF moment but that Chuks Aneke goal against Posh was 'gobsmacking'. Doubt I'll ever see a harder struck shot.

The weather at the Mansfield game. We had all 4 seasons in the span of 90 minutes with hail, rain and blinding sunlight

Was that the 'defensive header'? If it is, yes I still vividly recall that. :(

I think its the most ridiculous header I've ever seen. I also think Martin could have got to it..
