On a positive note, a local trip instead of a huge one to Sunderland. Plus Derby and Peterborough are relatively close. Oh and F@@k Wycombe, Ainsworth and the anti-football fisters of High Wycombe.

I'm glad Sunderland won and not the anti football cheating hoofers.
I think the two best teams in the play offs never made the final.

100%

I thought that Sheff Weds would edge us out in a Wembley final.

Maybe they still will...

Pretty much my impression of the original Wimbledon - (except we called them cloggers)

Glad it was Sunderland who went up. I feel Wycombe will be weaker next season, will lose a few key players and possibly even Ainsworth, whereas Sunderland will always be a huge club with lots of money at this level and would be guaranteed to be up there again.

Stockdale kicks it long to Vokes and repeat 650 times.

Literally Wycombes entire game plan all season. Depressing to watch.

I think on a couple of occasions Stockdale played it shorter, allowing an outfield player to hoof it long to Vokes, interesting change of tactics, which somehow Sunderland adapted to

I guess 'you', i.e. their fans, don't care as long as you win. And it worked - up to a point.
But I never doubted blunderland and their demented hordes would triumph - and (as I've posted elsewhere) I am glad they did.

Possibly, although I found our promotion season from League 2 pretty dull and of little excitement (when it should have been the complete opposite), which I put down to the style of football. We were winning, but never felt like we deserved to.

Maybe Wycombe are just used to that style of football now, having had it for so long. I hope we steer clear of any manager that just wants their keeper to kick it long literally every time he receives it though, as I never want to watch football like that week in week out.
