I read all the local press reports on his signing yesterday and I had the impression that there was still another striker to come in. Did anyone think the same, or is Ike our only striking addition?

Robbie seems to be suggesting there might be another striker coming. Indicated that he thinks our existing defence can be coached into a better place. Personally, I would prefer a new central defender to another striker.

Yeah, that was my take on it too in respect of another striker. Glad it wasn’t just me...

Agreed, in respect of the CB situation. Just one who actually concentrates and recognises a threat when it occurs to play alongside Walsh.

Is EEL being recalled, haven’t seen any confirmation.

EEL seemed to come from a barely followed twitter account with no confirmation, make of that what you will.

Happy to give him a chance. Like others have said, we've had success with loanees from Prem clubs that underperformed before coming to us (Afobe, Bamford), and vice versa (Sam Gallagher). Let's hope he's more of an Afobe or Bamford than a Gallagher.
I have a feeling he will be worthwhile.

And let's all remember Banford was a bit 'meh' in his first half season loan with us. It took him a while to get going.

This.

I thought ugbo played very well today - shame we didn’t play to his strengths more - when we have a slug of a striker we play it over the top now we have pace we play to his feet

It looked at times as if Chucks was ignoring him. Particularly once when he failed to give him a clear cut chance on goal.
