Would Chuks be in your best ever Dons team, even if on the bench at this stage ?

He would be in my team, but on the bench. I would have Grigg and Bamford as my 2 strikers. However, I would place Chuks as the next best striker we have had....Izale scored a hatful of goals, but Chuks has so much more to his game. And I would have Chuks ahead of Sam Baldock now. And Wilbraham.

Yes.
As per the other thread:

That is a cracking team, Das Boot. I would still have Bamford over Afobe though. However I was not intending this to be yet another "best Dons team ever" thread.....just more making the point of "how good Chuks is"....and the last thing we want now is for him to leave too...

Still see Chuks as more of a #10 than a striker. I’d still place Reeves, Chadwick and Puncheon above him.

Aneke can do 10 stuff linking up, he can score goals, he can run past players with the ball, and be a target for winning and holding up low and high balls.

We have never had another player who can do all of those. He showed off all of it on Saturday.

So for me it’s a no-brainer, he’s in.

What she said on top ^ a fit chuks is unplayable, you can mark players like reeves out of the game. Chuks is just a unique threat that on his day is unstoppable. With the players around him of the 14/15 team he would have been phenomenal and the perfect afdfddition for afobe leaving in january, although not a direct replacement he would have rebalanced the squad for that physical presence that was lost.

Puncheon v Chuks: there's a battle royal. Big question: are offensive weapons allowed? :)

Truncheons v Nunchucks perhaps? :)

This. Top, top player at this level.

In terms of ability, and the range of strengths to his game (free kicks, creativity, passing, shot accuracy/power and overall strength/hold up play), only Dele exceeds him, with Chuks better than Dele at free kicks.

Just need to stay fit, and keep up the consistency.

he's supremely talented but his fitness issues and basic inability to run much have to count against him.

I'd have chadwick and puncheon ahead of him in terms of no. 10s (and dele, of course, but he didn't play there much until spurs).
