Wasn't it relaid in the summer? Did not look great at all last night and tore up quite a bit.

Considering its just been relayed, I'd have expected to hold up a lot more than it has.

Certainly over-watered before KO and Half Time.

But take a look at a YouTube video of Peterborough last season and then last night is absolutely fine.

I’d be in favour of spending the Fisher money on the pitch.

It’s difficult to play good football on a crappy pitch.

Christ yeah, last season was awful.

Still not great though, not seen many pitches look like ours in this league though. If it was fully relaid in the summer, you'd expect it to be one of the best pitches in the league. Accrington's at the weekend was in much better nick.

they said it was over watered before the game like saturated and there was still surface water at kick off. Bizarre as to why they did this as that is why it was cutting up all over the shop. Still we won with it being like that so that is all that matters.

I.......agree?!

The pitch didn't look good at all. It looked waterlogged in the middle in certain patches.

One of the sprinklers got stuck I think. It was just shooting in the same direction for a while and ended up flooding a part of the pitch.

The sprinklers were on right up until we kicked off. I know we got a new groundsman in recently, after the previous one retired. No way should a new pitch end up looking like it is at the moment. Something is wrong.

It looks terrible, what the hell was going on with the sprinkler system?
In front of us in the East Stand, the flooded pitch looked like you would need a 4x4 to get through it.

Needs better care than it’s getting now

Who decides on the use of the sprinklers ? They seem to be used far to much, resulting in a soft surface which is being torn up and eroded. I would have thought the amount of rain we've had lately would have been enough.
