Brittain has had a very decent game. One assist, and won a penalty (albeit a handball from his cross). Don't know who will get man of the match but surely has to be in contention.

No stand outs in the motm stakes callum got a few mentions in the commentary.
Possibly at fault for not closing his his man down for their goal, but that would be but picking.
Solid game.
Well done.

He got booked, he's not good enough so we'll have to keep him

Part of me wants to believe that this is just his agent putting his name out there as a timely reminder to our board that he needs a new contract, but that’s a big couple of names to link him with!

This contract (and Nicholls too, for that matter) needs sorting in the next few weeks. Come January and he’s effectively a free agent. I get that his progress has taken people at the club by surprise, but once it became apparent that he was going to be part of the first team set up this season then talks should have started. You lock down your best young assets wherever possible. Having a Youth International in the final year of his contract is asking for trouble.

His contract should have been sorted out before now, how true those reports are I'm not sure, but what young player in their right mind would go to Chelsea? Farmed out across Europe without getting a sniff at the club who bought them.

I think personally he'd be better off staying here for a bit longer, but if Tottenham come calling with a big cheque then there's not much option

Named EFL Young Player of the Month for September :o

https://www.mkdons.com/news/2017/octobe ... the-month/

Get this boy a new contract ASAP.

Also - that's our 4th winner of the award - Dele, Sam Baldock and Bamford being the others. Along with Watford, we are the club with the most amount of winners for this award.

Not bad for a crappy Franchise with no history.
