I don't really feel that anything has changed in the last few weeks. It feels like the club in general is in crisis.

So you have to consider why Pete didn't do anything earlier.

I've come to the conclusion that Pete offered Robbie something special in his contract to entice him here because, it felt like a slightly strange coup when he was appointed at the time.
