So a genuine question here in relation to the rumours of Russ going to Swansea. Is it an age thing that we have a group of fans who constantly feel the need to take the piss on social media across all platforms, in this instance, Russ is going etc, they really seem to take joy out of it, I can see through it but other people don't.

Sense of humour bypass on my part? Or are they just being twats? We're not talking young kids here either.

See that. Weird. Lack of female attention and still living at home with parents I’d suspect.

Why has no new contract been announced for Russ despite him only having less than a year to run on g
His current deal? Not exactly a show of faith is it? from either party.

When have we ever announced a manager has signed a contract extension. We haven’t as far as I can recall, so although Martin said he had a year left in that article, it could be it’s changed since April.

If he’s on our standard rolling contract that will be why.

Fair point but in that case why during the end of season reflection was it mentioned contract talks were set to take place? If it's a long term rolling contract contract talks wouldn't be needed. Did those talks break down or could it be that they are waiting till we hit some good form during the season to reveal them?

Would be interested in seeing one of those then as it’s not my recollection.

I remember it being mentioned in an Athletic article but not the season recap. Would suggest it’s not a roller if so.

That’s not to say he hasn’t signed since and as normal it’s not been announced. One for a fan forum I think.
