As he was totally unpopular with Snakearse, if he hasn't found a club might be worth keeping him on, I guess his loyalty to MK Dons even though wasn't getting much game time was an anathema to Snakearse (god knows how he stayed in the same building as Lewie, knowing he couldn't drop him like Kieran)

Would've thought there's enough strikers in the building. If he was offered a route back, would imagine on much reduced terms. Surprised he hasn't been snapped up already.

I note Boateng is also training with us, but wasn’t allocated a squad number. Can anyone see him now being allocated a number now the snake has wriggled away.

I now have this fantasy in my head that we draw Swansea in the cup, as he takes his seat in the Swansea dugout, there is an adder that has made his way down from the Welsh countryside and bites him in the arse, so he has to stand the whole game. Agard scores a hattrick, Swansea break back to 3-3 and Lewie comes out of the dugout and scores the winning goal.

His time here is done, regardless of manager.

Agreed. Also, those combined Agard and Boateng salaries last season* could have been put to good use elsewhere, so why on earth would we want to a) re-sign Agard even on reduced terms and b) not get shot of Boateng, who probably getting paid double what any other back up midfielder in our squad is?

I get that Cambridge will have paid a chunk, but I bet it wasn’t much more than half.
