Think it's harsh to judge him against Reeves so soon, Reeves had 4 seasons with us, Aneke has had 2/3 of a season (we all knew he wouldn't come back till October/November before they pushed it back further)

I'm not judging him, just simply trying to introduce some relevant facts into the discussion as always, as they stood a week last Thursday.
Take it up with Alby :) :

I heard in some interview Robbie say that "Cup games become more important as you progress" and that "Chuks Aneke will start against Stevenage." I suppose the idea is to get a good lead first then rest Aneke which makes sense.

Edited to add that that I didn't hear it, I read it in a Citizen article after Toby Lock interviewed Robbie.

Personally hope he doesn't play too long, would rather he played in the Bradford game, Stevenage also used to have a reputation for being a bit physical so last thing we want is for him to get crocked.

THIS 100%.

Agreed. So all Chuks has to do is help us get a quick 3 goal lead and he could be subbed well before HT. :)

That's how I read it too.
Hic, burp belch.

Even so. Yes Chuks has been injured a lot and yes there could be an argument to be made, but to judge one season against 4 is a bit off. There's so many unknowns in regards to what Chuks could be, Reeves stagnated year on year since his first season for me.

Reeves IMO looked dis-interested towards the end. Hence the whole moving to Charlton thing and refusing to sign a contract.

Chuks on the other hand looks like he could be something special. Even if he is a sick note.

Very true.

That boy Chadwick was also a sicknote. He wasn't too bad a player either. :D
