Into the Fourth Round for the first time as MK Dons. Hope they get a big team. And depending who it is, Chelsea, Arsenal etc maybe could get some fans down to support them.

I thought it worked the same way as the senior draw. Can’t say I know too much about this level so happy to stand corrected.

Could be a good draw though as the above post said.

Absolutely, could be a chance to progress, especially as the key man Asonganyi, was missing tonight through injury

Great result. I genuinely think the confidence our U18s have, they would feel like they could beat any academy side in the next round, especially with Asonganyi back. A lot of these boys at U15 level beat Barcelona U15s, so anything is possible.

On a side note, watching/listening to Edu Rubio's post-match interview, what a refreshing difference to Neilson. Enthusiastic, seems like he genuinely loves working for the club and comes across as a very professional coach. Would like to see him get a shot at the first team, and if not, think one day he will get the opportunity elsewhere.

Plenty of youth coaches have flopped. Plenty of assistants have flopped. Plenty have succeeded.

I think it's inevitable that he will get poached by a bigger club at some point, if he isn't given more responsibility here.

He's already very well respected as a coach, works for the Spanish FA training people doing their UEFA A licenses, so definitely has the knowledge to coach at any level I would say. Wouldn't be surprised at all if at the end of the season he moves on.

Think the best option would be, if (when) we are looking for a new manager, Rubio gets a caretaker opportunity to prove himself, and if he impress then to get the job full time.
