Should be "where ARE your manners ?"

("Where's your manners ?" equates to "where is your manners ?")

It's a football forum... nit-picking about spelling, grammar and overall sentance construction is just a bit... tedious.

Lol at Keyser ! I was not being serious ! Just a bit bored at that time of day when I looked at the forum...doh !

But while I am speaking to you, yesterday you questioned my approach to evidence to prove a theory, right ? And you said "that is not how science works." Well just to say, you can approach science in 2 ways - the inductive approach or deductive approach.

One approach starts with a stated hypothesis (eg "the world is flat") and then you collate evidence to prove or disprove that assertion.
The other approach starts with observed facts/evidence, and then you formulate a theory/hypothesis based on the evidence.

Both approaches, dear Keyser, are valid and reasonable approaches in scientific investigation.

It's d'oh, not doh, numbnuts.

Should I mention about the problem with induction as expounded by the great Scottish philosopher Dave Hume? Cue Monty Python.

No - you have demonstrated with your wiki-cribbed response that you don't get it, so I'm happy to leave it there.
