Hate missing the football. Those who went - how did it go?

I didn't go and only manged to listen to 3CR intermittently.

Apparently the ref was dreadful esp for their second goal and with the opposition down to 10 men we could have done better but their keeper was the hero denying us again and again.

I'll happily be corrected; as I said, I just caught bits of it throughout the afternoon. :ugeek:

Really entertaing game. Dare I say the most entertaining game since posh away last season. We got the ball down and passed well. Controlled large periods of the game. Never sat back and pressured and pushed. Peppered their goal with a foray of shots. Were it not for their goalkeeper having a worldy and a couple of dubious decisions we would have run away with the game. Seriously enjoyable game. We really did give it everything. This team when fit is really coming together. Saw a completely different side of football under robbie neilson today. Last 2 games have been really encouraging but now hopefuly we get the maximum points our performances deserve.

I repeat we really did get it down and pass them off the pitch today and attacked from the get go till the final whistle. Huge resiliance to come back twice but for me we were the better side today and the best dons performance ive seen in a very long time.

It’s also encouraging that Robbies signings are starting to perform.

Pawlett, Mc Grandles, Nesbitt are all showing what they can do, when Sow gets back to full fitness he also will hopefully click.

As the politicians would say, the green shoots of recovery are starting to grow......

Is it fair to judge the performance improvement against ten men for half the game ?

Yes because they were good and the better side in the first half as well!

We still need to win games , draws are not good enough, if you are not winnings games . Still only 5 points from bottom four, and that is a worry.
