I missed both goals that day. First, Gleeson's near half time as I was queuing for a burger. Then I missed Heel of God because I left on 90 mins.

I've been going to footy for over 50 years, and that is still the highlight of those 50+.

Image how I'd feel if I'd left on 90 minutes.

That day is definitely up there top 3. Then it's beating Man Utd. Biggest highlight was winning promotion against Yeovil and the drama of the last 15 minutes and following the Preston/Colchester game.

But it's all been unforgiving, relentless misery since then.

I didn't go because my youth team were struggling for players, so I went to play. The game got called off at half time and I've never forgiven myself.

I’ve noticed celebratory decorations going up all round the country.

A happier mood throughout the land and even the possibility that Brexit might get sorted. We have a lot to thank Jon O for; perhaps we could put up a statue of that ankle.
