Released:
Eisa, Kelly, Kemp, Robson and O'Hora. Loan players obviously gone back to.

Everyone else under contract, so we must have taken up the option on Harvie.

We cannot go into another year with Tucker and Harvie as senior defensive options. Hopefully we can shift both of them out.

I'll merge my thread here

It's out.

Retained List for 24/25
Quote:
Joel Anker, Darragh Burns, Max Dean, Matthew Dennis, Dawson Devoy, Alex Gilbey, Conor Grant, Nathan Harness, Ellis Harrison, Daniel Harvie, Brooklyn Ilunga, Jonathan Leko, Dean Lewington, Craig MacGillivray, Cameron Norman, Ronnie Sandford, Phoenix Scholtz, Joe Tomlinson, Callum Tripp, Jack Tucker, Charlie Waller, Stephen Wearne and MJ Williams.

Released
Quote:
Mo Eisa, Michael Kelly, Dan Kemp, Warren O’Hora and Ethan Robson.

In the most part, no major shocks, although maybe a little surprises Harvie has been kept on. Some may have been surprised Kelly was kept on, but he was simply slightly better than Marschall.

I think 2 or 3 are going to have to go from the retained list.

O'Hora gone. About time.

Tucker has to be sold, alongside Harvie.

Burns and Devoy have to go.

I wonder what role Ilunga will have this season.

He wasn't kept on. And he was on a rolling contract so of course he would go. He was the best of an awful situation. Nothing more.

Just hope there are some lunatics ready to buy them cause they have not covered themselves in glory.

I should have worded it better "Some may have been surprised he wasn't kept on"

But I agree with your viewpoint.

It never fails to amaze me how stupid people on the internet are. Seeing comments like “How on earth have we released O’Hora and not Tucker”.

How are people actually this thick?

Gutted that we didn't keep Kelly on as a 2nd keeper. He may not be the best but I'd trust him as backup.

100% but it may depend on McGillivary. If we offer to Kelly now and McGillivary doesn't move on, we'll likely end up with 3 senior keepers as neither are viewed as first choice for MW.

I think if McGillivary leaves early on and Kelly hasn't found a new club, he'll come back to us and be 2nd choice and we recruit a new goalkeeper as 1st choice.
