Agreed, I'm bored of Milton Keynes and I hear Rugby needs a football league club

That would work out well for me. I am only 20 minutes from Rugby.

I reckon his next move (other than keeping things ticking over in League One) will be to sell.
Dont know when, how or to who - but I cant see any other outcome. The site has been developed, job done, sell up including MK Dons and let someone else invest / build up even more debt? Move to warmer climates?

Anyway, it seems that Bradford's german owners have fluttered their eyelashes in their direction:

No loss, as far as I'm concerned.

If we were to get promoted and there wasn't funding to buy the right players to keep us up, that would be an issue.

What you mean like the time we got promoted to the Championship ?.....that sort of lack of funding ?

There was funding, just very badly spent...

..and that ultimately is what cost Robbo his job; more so than the actual results, I'd say. Having heard Pete's comments/quotes over the likes of Benavente, Aguza, Jennings and Matt Upson, I think the wasting of money that previous summer was a bigger factor in his eventual dismissal than results and league position. That's a huge outlay there for players who contributed absolutely nothing.

But the chief scout never gets the blame. Funny that!
