Perhaps we should have an official list of questions and secret handshakes. Like

What county is the club in?
How do you spell Winkelman?
Why do we have a cow mascot?
In what location is the koi carp pond? (trick question)
What's doing a Lewie?
Will we get promoted this season?

Anyone who answers yes is automatically suspect.

So is anyone who answers in German.

Which reminds me, does anyone else remember those crazy German fans at the front of the Cowshed several years ago?

A few years ago on a holiday in Cornwall, myself and my wife were at a B&B and a German couple also there....he was an avid Dortmund fan. He sent me a Dortmund scarf when he got home, and likewise I sent him a MKD scarf. I warrant it may be the only MKD scarf in Germany ?

And similarly, my brother in law's family o his wife's side is American and a couple of years ago they sent a MKD shirt to his nephew. Again, I wonder if it is the only MKD shirt in the USA ? Or at least in Michigan. And I wonder what comments/questions he gets from his friends ? "MK who ?"

....out of interest, I learnt that Dortmund fans are probably the most fanatical in Europe (even the world ?) More so than Barca or Real fans even, or any of the fanatical Turkish clubs. When they play Shalke away, Dortmund take 30,000 AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been to a match with an American, it was the FA Cup when we had to replay Chesterfield. It wasn't a good advert for the game that one but I can assure you there are at least two MKD scarves in the US.
