The club did put a lot off by how they did for example, you had to give them your details which would put a lot of people off and you had to do it in person but the box office closes at 5pm (and you couldn't do it on the Saturday IIRC).

None of that would be any different to someone who wanted to come to a game and buy a ticket.

If people can't be bothered to do that when it's free, I doubt they're going to be bothered to do it for £10 or whatever.

A shirt is a shirt, regardless of how it's made or where you wear it.

Before we start encouraging cheaper tickets let's not forget we literally couldn't give away tickets last season!

Is it not our highest league attendance? 20k plus when we average 8 or 9k is a bonus surely?

I'm happy with what we have tbh. I like supporting a smaller, lower league club with less attendances but more of a community feel.

If ever we made it big, I'd seriously consider following anot her local, lower league side. (L**on excluded).

You are missing the point. I feel the shirts are shit. If I was given the option of a free shirt I wouldn't wear or £40 off my season ticket I know what I would choose.

But you would still watch our games on TV?

I can't believe you would be happy with ditching the club because we joined the elite. A place where every lower league football fan wants to be.

This claim is laughably misguided.

I've no interest in the Premier League and neither do a heck of a lot of people.

I agree Dan, I’m one of those who don’t want to be in the Premier league, there’s no fun in that.

But I wouldn’t ditch the club if we somehow got there.

I think you'll find there's a large proportion of match-going fans across the FL who have similar thoughts.

I'm totally content with where we are - if only the football was a little more entertaining.
