Using some kind of voodoo magic and wizardry, Sky Sports are predicting that based on various factors we will finish in the relegation zone. Their special stat system gave us a 46% chance of relegation, which was the third highest.

I think the word you’re looking for is guesswork, must be a quiet day in their office and a few bored souls came up with this

Do you know what ? I am slowly coming round to the idea that it may be GOOD if we get relegated. A chance to play comfortably at our level in L2...hopefully win that league, get some confidence and new impetus back, and get back to battling for the play-offs in L1 again. I suppose I am saying a "Newcastle United" model. May seem odd to say this, but relegation followed by renewed success could be a great thing for the club.

Discuss ;)

Ah, the League 2 Championship & FA Trophy double-winning season - climbed from 19th in the league after the first game home defeat against Bury, up to the top of the league for 37 weeks, while equalling the all-time record for away wins & conceding the lowest number of goals of any MK Dons season, plus getting to Wembley via that penalty shootout, together with a decent atmosphere home & away thanks to a far wider variety of much wittier chants & songs led by those who knew how to do it properly.

Most enjoyable MK Dons season ever.
Imho... ;)

I’d like to watch the highest standard of football possible. Wanting to be successful at a lower level is a form of dumbing down.

I’d prefer my team to be winning games, but even if they’re not, I want to watch better players.

Current form projections indicate a final total of 55 points. Enough to avoid the drop, but only just.

Ah, the Championship relegation season - fell from top of the league after the first game 4-1 away victory against Rotherham, down into the relegation zone after 9 games, in 20th or below for 35 weeks while setting the all-time record of any MK Dons season for fewest home wins, highest number of goals conceded, least number of goals scored, worst goal difference, a lousy atmosphere home & away, and a dithering manager unable to think of anything to prevent an avoidable relegation, unlike Rotherham with their new manager who beat us 4-0 at home in the return fixture, to successfully avoid relegation themselves.

Least enjoyable MK Dons season ever.
Imho... ;-)

It was for the Dons but we still got to watch a better standard of player. You watch two teams in each game.

I'd rather do badly at a high level than do well at a lower level.
