I don't know if he's precious or not. My comments are more general than based on Tshibola.

In football, form comes and goes and it's normally in proportion to confidence. I don't believe you make talented people more confident by criticizing them.

Am I allowed to criticise you on your American spelling of criticise? Unless you are American then fill your boots!

Yes you are. :D My defence is that I typed it right but my phone spell checker changed it. However, I should have checked it before I submitted. I accept your criticism.

You make a valid point that criticism can help in certain situations. Thank you.

  I had to check the dictionary that I was spelling it right. Look, we are going to agree to disagree on this subject, but for whatever reason Tshibola is gone and was very poor. Thing is I am guessing Villa will get rid of him ASAP. I get the feeling that it was last chance saloon for him from a Villa POV, which is a shame.

Had the same conversation with my brother in law at lunch time. My money says villa get rid in the January sales.

Thing is to who? It is a risk paying money for a player who hasn't performed at two clubs in two different divisions.

Pedantic fact: outside of a small subset of verbs, -ize and -ise are both accepted usage in British English.

See this from the Oxford dictionary folk:

https://blog.oxforddictionaries.com/2011/03/28/ize-or-ise/

That was part of the conversation, if he isn’t careful he’ End up in league 2 or worse still the National league or whatever they call it now.

Or the Scottish Premier League. They love our rejects.

Instead of replacing Tshibola with another short term loan youngster, I'd like to see one or two experienced lower league players being signed. With players and managers, we always seem to go for young, hungry and ambitious: all creditable attributes but they don't stay with us for long. I'd like to see that policy combined with signing some "grizzled, lower league players" who have been there and done it at this level and who are leaders on and off the pitch and are happy to be with us and aren't seeing us as a stepping stone. A squad needs all kinds, and how many of that kind does the current squad have?

There was a mention on a previous thread about us watching a Mansfield player, how much truth is in that of course remains to be seen but yes agree with your post.

I’d like to see Rasulo given an extended run of games. We’ll not properly find out if he’s up to it if we don’t.

Whilst he isn’t bad I really can’t see him making it at this level on the games i’v Seen him play in. There again who knows.

I hope he does. He hasn’t been a Jason banton character here. He just wasn’t very good. Noting personal so I hope he gets better.
