Heard from a very vague source (Literally unsure why I’m even posting but hey slow news day) that Lewington could be off to Gills on loan... As I say vague source from someone who’s never got anything right and not heard it from anyone else. Would make no sense strengthening a team not far behind us in the league

Hate to be unkind, but would it be strengthening?

I agree. As a midfielder, Potter got few assists and goals and wouldn’t show up on the Filthmeter.

BTW Rooney added an assist to his stats over the weekend for missing that penalty.
Wouldn't Potter register on balls received, passes & tackles made?

Yes, but the Filthmeter is rarely that sophisticated.

Plus, and this is in general not Potter, there is retaining ball under pressure, headers won, dribbling, passing into dangerous areas (as opposed to nothing sideways passes)... there’s lots of things that make a good player and many of them are recorded by Opta or whatever.

But goals, and at a push assists, are all we tend to hear about in the media. In our matchday program the opposition player abilities are summed up just by appearances and goals, even the defenders.

 it wants to be, but there are literally no publicly available stats for that amount of detail for this level of football, only Championship and Prem unfortunately.

I suggest you take your notebook and stopwatch to each game. You’ll make your fortune by compiling and selling filthystats.

Brand name is free of charge, by the way.

Looks like a new year's resolution.

Jim Henson is more likely, so some of his creations.

Would love us to sign Jason Cummings. Out of favour at Forest.
