Has anybody ever in the history of this thread actually ever predicted a player would come to us based on a rumour ?

We used to leave that to OTD ;)
Although with KR we didn’t need to as he was renowned for telling us who he was after anyway.

Obviously this is taken from the scum forum so believe what you will.

Basingstoke - as promised to answer your question re were franchise definitely in for joe pigott, yes they were but they weren't prepared to get him in now they wanted him at the end of the season but they wanted to express their interest in him now which of course he snubbed along with Coventry for us :)
