Absolute shame, that.

We Should set up a GoFundMe or something to help that club. You lot might see that as extreme but that’s what the Cup is about. Small clubs generating revenue and being excited to host a club from a higher division and that gets Ruined by some local chavs for absolutely no reason. Hope the idiots are found soon and Hyde get this issue sorted. Anyone else up for trying to raise even a little bit for Hyde?

Yeah I wouldn’t mind chipping in, it’s a shame they were invaded by thugs, who obviously had no affiliation to Hyde whatsoever

Yep, this ties into my thread from Saturday which raised the issue of the repair to the pitch, and they have confirmed the cost will be "significant" as I predicted. And to make it worse, no doubt that it was not thrown from a genuine Hyde fan.

So I think it would be a good gesture if Dons fans chipped in. Funny how we get loads of abuse from other clubs, yet we often do very well in putting a good reputation forth for our club.

I'd be happy to chip in, though if they'd done a bit better I'd be £95 up

Are you actually serious? Would understand if it was caused by our fans but it wasn't?
They are looking to claim the damages from guilty parties anyway....

'We will be asking for the courts to fine the individuals for the damage and loss of revenue caused by their actions to a facility which cost £500k'

Are you aware of how long it takes to recover fines And damage claims against individuals who are probably not working ,on minimum wage at college etc paying back at a fiver or less a week.

The club has closed the facility which will lose them money .TV money was being used for community projects much needed.

when we were getting ambushed passing their stand it was not a pretty sight.Flares coins beer cans .
Their chairman came up to ask if were ok . They paid for some of our fans taxis so they would get away safely. So bloody right i can pull a few quid out of my pocket to help them out.
The justice system in the uk is a joke.
