Agard possibly leaving doesn’t particularly have me panicking, yes he scored 20 last season, but it was a terrible league with a lot of poor teams, he isn’t the most efficient striker and I believe we can obtain a better player with his wages off the books, he never was a prolific scorer in league one, even allowing for some erratic service to him.

Out of Agard and Aneke, I would rather keep the latter. But my biggest fear is losing both. Replacing Agard is feasible. Replacing Agard AND Aneke's 40 goals in one window is going to be very, very hard. But I wish "Kags" all the best if he goes to Gillingham.

Probably utter nonsense, but a quick flick through twitter and some randomer has commented on a Cardiff account saying that they should re-sign Regan Poole has said that he's coming to us.

Someone on the Newport forum also said similar yesterday..

Twitter link to Hope Akpan. May be Bradford fans wishful thinking though.

Seems he's had a bad year.

For anyone not sure about him - ‘Akpan scored on his Crawley Town debut but was sent-off in the last minutes for a second bookable offence, in a 3-2 win over AFC Wimbledon’

Still not sure - ‘Akpan ended the season when he was sent-off in the sixth minutes for lunging Jason Prior, who had to be substituted, in a 1-1 draw against AFC Wimbledon’

Seems to have had a few issues with refs over the years!

Chuks went back to his old sheet as reported by the Newham Recorder. They state, "Aneke will now be hoping he can have another impressive campaign in League One with the Dons next season."

Sloppy journalism or a done deal? You take your choice.

Saw a tweet on this. It was about a week after Mansfield.

Can dream though
