APL PREDICTION LEAGUE – CURRENT LEAGUE TABLE
Well what an eventful few days, the lights went out on the Concrete Roundabout for one reason or another, but with the darkness came light. Within hours SPHERE took up the challenge, at great expense I might add, and Sit Down or We’ll Steal Your Club (SDOWSYC) was born, and for that we all owe him a great debt of gratitude, and I urge the good folks of this site to let as many people know as possible tomorrow night, as we still seem to have a few lost souls wandering around out there.
As for the APL, I was concerned that the data so far from this season had been lost, I am then extremely grateful to our online sleuth SG19 Cowshed das Boot who somehow managed to retrieve the data from some dodgy North Korean website, and I’m pleased to be able to show you that table below. It would have been a great shame to lose the info, especially as those at the top end had put in some superb predictions to get where they are.
One situation that seems to be difficult to recall are the predictions for the AFC game, sadly it seems they are lost and are now sitting in the corner with the ball, and the teddy's that were thrown out of the pram. In honesty as some hadn’t managed to get their prediction in because of the sudden power out, I’ve therefore had to make an executive decision and declare that match null and void, and if you got a correct prediction for that game, I’m sorry you missed out.
I’m also going to declare the Cobblers game void, it would have been a Double Bubble game, with all points won doubled, but because we are still missing a few regulars, it would have been harsh and short notice to get the predictions in, and some may have missed out.
So, the APL will go live again for our forthcoming away game at Bury, it’s going to be a Double Bubble Game as well, but I will maintain future Double Bubble Games for our 20th, 30th and 40th fixtures whoever they may be.
