The Oldham home game ratings thread is up & running in Cornflake Corner, here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=258

Rate the players, plus the manager, ref, linos & fans - let us & them know what you thought about their performance.
Thanks in advance for your ratings - always appreciated by those who couldn't attend the match for whatever reason.

I think Toby Lock has started to take that spice stuff during games judging by his player ratings

Lee Nicholls - 6 - Didn't have much to do, couldn't do much about any of the goals either.

Wtf , the guy conceded 4!! He remained on his goal line for all 4 goals showing no dominance of his area , showed weak hands for the ones he connected with and showed little sign of organisation .

Joe Walsh - 5 - Unlucky with the own goal

Unlucky, how can you get paid to review something as unlucky. It wasn't unlucky because his body shape was wrong and on noticing his body shape was wrong he should have had to presence of mind to just leave it

Ouss Cisse - 8 - His best game in a Dons shirt, covered every blade of grass.

Tbf he did cover some ground, he also pointed and shouted a lot blaming other for some shoddy passing ,his long passing game does not match his vision either seemed more relevant to ne. A 7 out if 10 at best . no more

That's just lazy poor insight
Same on 3CR. The insights can be shockingly bad. When I listen to away games but they seem to spend most time moaning about how they are not enjoying the game with long periods of silence. Everything happening is relevent

Need to get some actual football people around them to stimulate decent debate . These middle class post grads may have lovely use of the mother tongue but fall short of saying things relevant or intresting

Nicholls - 6
Wootton- 5 passing was poor
Eel - 5 was found wanting all first half (but who’s going to tell him?)
Britain - 6 not his best game but still gets a good cross over.
Golbourne - 6 good in spells but not his best.
Cisse - 6 actually think he was better when he played higher up the pitch.
Chuks - 7 class above at times, still returning to fitness which is probably why his shots were wayward.
Agard - 4 better than Tuesday but still not what you would call good.
Upson - 7 good game.
Walsh - 6 think he should’ve done better with the own goal.
Gilbert - 6 good at times, one player definitely up for the cause.

Subs
Rab - 9 my favourite player, totally committed and scored instantly, should start every game imo.
Harry B - 7 another player that changed the game, should start every game too.
Seager - 7 tries really hard and was him that if he didn’t actually score himself certainly was the reason.

Ref
5 - should’ve booked some of their players for the pulling back and cynical fouls much sooner than he did otherwise not bad.

Lino’s

6 - each, didn’t really get much wrong.

Them - 6 decent support until we started to play
Us - first half 3 but not much to cheer, second half 8 bit more like how it used to be.

Robbie - 4 wrong formation and wrong team selection saved only by his substitutions.

Then you'll know how easy it is to get blamed when your defence mess up. :ugeek:
